Would you tell me how you cooked yours? I also have some Stovetop to add. Should I cook that separately?

I bought a turkey tenderloin (Honeysuckle White "Rotisserie" seasoned) after I read how good your crockpot versions were but now I can't find a
recipe that doesn't include fruit
or sweet potatoes .

Joey, if I were you, I'd just broil it and maybe cook some rice to go with it.

(((((Joey dahling!))))) I have broiled mine in the oven (about 10 mins. each side) and grilled them on the barbecue. Either way is FABULOUS! We had them just
last night and I made mashed potatoes, corn and steamed broccoli for the sides. DD was thrilled.
If I were going to do them in the slow cooker I'd probably add a half can or so of chicken broth, put the tenders in, then put the prepared Stovetop on top and cook on low all day. Of course that would be purely experimental on my part but I don't think it would be a bad idea. Fruit with meat is JUST WRONG!!!!!

I'm going to buy some and bread them in lard, parmesean bread crumbs and cheese, and deep fry them in a vat of butter. Then I'm going to put a fired
egg on top, 8 strips of bacon, 2 slices of swiss cheese, and serve it all atop a bed of crushed up fritos.

I'd do like Pidge said, Joey, but just 5 to 6 hours on low will do it for tenderloins. You'll love it too.

I did a pork roast in the slow cooker that called for apricot preserves. It was freakin' delicious!

OK, I'm going to slow cook it in the crock with some white wine and mushrooms. Should I slice it before cooking?
I'll make the Stovetop separately, since soggy stuffing makes me hurl. Oh yeah, throw a stick of butter in there.
How silly of me. Butter, white wine and mushrooms............it could be a shoe and it would taste good. |

nope, don't slice it. it'll practically fall apart on its own when it's done cooking.

I've never bought a whole turkey tenderloin. I get the individual bacon-wrapped ones from my local HyVee. I don't think I'd slice it before crock
pottery, though. Depends on how fast you want to cook it, I reckon.

oh but the stuffing won't come out soggy if you cook it with the turkey. trust me.

I lost my recipe, but it was pretty much like Pidge said up there... put the tenders in first, then put the stuffing over the top and add just a half can of
chicken broth. cook for 5-6 hours on low. take the tenders out and then stir the stuffing before you serve.
I seem to remember that the last time I did it, I put the turkey on top though. I think it was easier to get it out of the slow cooker without it falling into pieces that way. lol |
