Pidge, I'm so afraid that they aren't going to get anything done because they will be so afraid of the conservative backlash in the next election. If
they were smart, they'd realize that the majority of people want a liberal agenda, but I just don't see it happening. This is the time when they could
bite the bullet and do away with "don't ask/don't tell" and to get rid of DOMA. They could also get a viable health care bill passed. I
can't wait to see what happens.

I don't see it happening either unless we all continue to call and write them. It DOES make a difference. I e-mail the White House at least once a week and
various committee chairs and Congress people about various issues. I'm sure they're sick of hearing from me but I don't give a rat's ass if
they are!
