How my afternoon took a dramatic change...I SOLD IT! |
Lead | |
|
It took two months, 4 online venues but I sold it. I'm flabbergasted, the seller paid me an astounding 10%. My stated fee was not even 2%.... and for the
first time ever the buyer slipped me 1% at the deal. I'm as giddy as I've ever been over a sale. Case of Andre ON THE WAY! HOOOOORAY!!!!!!!

Thanks sissy. I'm just mushy right now. I've got this curious itch to fly to Manhattan and shoe shop. I've had my eye on these Now-n-Later Gators
you know.......
Aww crap, think I better pay down some credit cards instead. :-j |

Thanks all. Monk, that was a very famous car that was featured in a Danchuk poster. BBC yes, stage IV BDS with intercooler. I think it was 8-71 but I'd be
a liar to spec it. A righteous bus, 70 nova front clip, super duper clean~body near perfect, polished sheetmetal inner fenders, carpeted interior, fuel cell,
hydraulics, big nitous....AND SOLD! WEEEEE!

I'm humbled by my seller's generosity. Even more so by the buyer's gratuity. I've sold three cars for him now~and bought one.

Monk, I guess it's all in your perspective. I've never had a "cool" car. I bought a 1989 chevy suburban 1500. It's had a dualie rear end
installed and very tasty mini fender bulges properly molded in. It's lowered front and rear so the top of the rims on rear wheels are only showing about 2
inches. It has a eyebrow and an all steel cowl hood. It has a very nice custom white paint job with some very tasteful 3 tone silver stripes. I love it. It
gets the looks in my ghetto. I've had some learning curves, the starter solenoid gets hot and does the chevy no start BS. That gets fixed next friday.
It's got the typical suburban rattles I've been calming down with this and that....yep, I dig it. Got it so priced right.

I'll post a pix.
I'm really stoked. The buyer just called to thanked me. That too is a first. His son was driving it and they are having a ball. I made the appointment to meet the seller today on my day off, they flew in from California. I arranged for an old pal, a cabbie to pick them up at the Airport and bring them to my house. I guess the trip was golden for them. He has so sweetly gone on and on about having the poster of this car prominently in his garage....and now it is theirs! They are taking the car to the shipper I recommended tomorrow morning, they will have the car in CA. Friday. |

*cool sigh of disbelief*
Nice supper. :-j Pidge, the whole point to flying in to pick up your new Gators is wearing them out for the ride home like when you'd score some new kicks back in the day. Your old shoes in the box. A devil's advocate is libel to inspire the worst in me....heh heh. |
